Admission Criteria


Bachelor of Engineering/Pharmacy

Admission to Engg courses are through centralized examination (ENGG - JEE) & in Pharmacy on the basis of 12th examination & counseling organized by DTE on the basis of merit ranking. After receiving allotment letter, the student is required to contact college admission cell for the verification of the documents as per AICTE norms.
The student should have min of 45% marks in PCM/PCB for general category & 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The following original documents are required for verification viz 10th Mark Sheet, 12th Mark Sheet, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Domicile (only for SC/ST/OBC). All students are required to submit 4 copies of recent photographs.

Lateral Entry (Direct Admission to 2nd year B.E./BPharm)

Students can directly take admission in Engg courses in 2nd year after completion of Diploma/BSc (Maths), with min of 45% marks for general category & 40% for SC,ST,OBC.

Likewise, students of DPharm can directly take admission in BPharm in 2nd year after completion of DPharm , with min of 50% marks for general category & 45% for SC,ST,OBC.

M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm.

Students seeking admission to ME/MTech courses should be graduate in ENGG technology with min 50% marks & candidate seeking admission to M Pharma should be a graduate in Pharmacy with at least 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC).
SC/ST/OBC categories of M.P. region----from any AICTE approved institute or Indian universities or from a foreign university recognized by association of Indian Universities or equivalent thereof.
An entrance test GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engg) organized by Indian Institute of Technology & GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) organized by AICTE shall be considered for admission to ME/MTech & MPharma respectively.

MBA COURSE

Students seeking admission to MBA courses should be a graduate with at least 50 % marks ( 45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC category of MP) of any UGC, AICTE approved Indian university or from a foreign university recognized by association of Indian universities or institutes recognized by UGC. An entrance test (MET) is conducted by DTE for selection of candidates for admission to management courses. In case seats are available, admission is given on merit basis based on marks in the graduate examination through college level counseling.

B.ED.COURSE

PGOI offers admission in B.Ed. course based on the entrance examination & counseling conducted by professional examination board.

DIPLOMA COURSE

Students seeking admission to Diploma course should be std 10th passed with min 35% marks (with Maths/Bio compulsory).
OR
Students seeking admission to Diploma 2nd year should be ITI passed (2 years course)with min 35% marks / minimum passed. (Eligible for particular trade only).

Document to be submitted

 Mark sheet of qualifying exam. .
 GATE/GPAT/MET/Pre-MCA test score card.
 Caste and domicile certificate on prescribe format of Govt. of. MP (for candidate of SC/ST/OBC).
 Two recent pass port size photo graph.
 Certificate of handicapped.
  A candidate claiming reservation under OBC category have to produce is certificate issued by the competent authority of Performa 2 (A) or 2 (B) as given in the rule book. The candidate should bring an income certificate regarding his/hers family income from the competent authority.

Admission shall be done through Counseling on the basis of the common ranking list competent authority.

No separate call letters shall be sent to the candidates. After having selected the Seat/Institution, the candidate shall have to report in the concerned institution before the cut-off date, which will be mentioned in the admission slip issued by the Competent Authority at the time of counseling. In the institution where candidate is selected, candidate shall have to complete all formalities and he/she shall pay the remaining amount of fees etc. in the institution where he/she is admitted within seven days of issue of admission slip. All the candidates shall be required to pay the fees in the institution as per the rules of Government of Madhya Pradesh as applicable to them on the date of admission.
